The first installment of Namco and Monolith's epic RPG saga in anime form!

Far into the future, mankind lives in deep space, far from the planet originally known as 'Earth.' Faced with the threat of the other-dimensional beings known as Gnosis, scientist Shion Uzuki of Vector has been developing a battle android named KOS-MOS to combat this formidable enemy. But Shion has no idea of the universe-spanning adventure she is about to be thrust into, nor how she herself is a vital piece to the puzzle.

Music is overall underwhelming but art style for the characters is interesting with its more realistic tone blended with anime style.

I still like it as an anime and die-hard Xenosaga fan but they could have done much better.
