It isn't the worst game on the 3DS, but given its source material, it should have been one of the better offerings on the system. [Issue #19 – January/February 2016, p.75]
Unfortunately the debut of Gravity Falls in the gaming universe is really incomparable to the glorious animated series: despite the solid look, this platform ranges from bad to insignificant, and truly feels like a gigantic wasted opportunity.
This is a game only young players will likely enjoy on the whole, while others will be left scratching their heads as to how a show with so much personality churned out such a dull game.
Gravity Falls: Legend Of The Gnome Gemulets is a beautiful platformer that accurately recreates the look and feel of the TV show it’s based on. Unfortunately, the game is so short, and so lacking in variety, that it feels unfinished.
This game is a plataformer that kinda reminds me of Rayman but a little bit slower, you change between dipper and mabel to use there special weapons and abilities to solve puzzles and pass certain parts. the dialogue WILL make you laugh and giggle in certain points and it 'sometimes' takes it seriously. Im reviewing it by how much i enjoyed it (Not as a CRITIC), my final opinion of the game is that its fun and its a nice few hour entertainment. I say you should give it a chance (Remember its KINDA SLOW AND SHORT).
Thanks for reading.
This game is for little children age 7 to 10 AND maybe for fans. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is very simple platforming. It has a small amount of adult humor as the show. But it is a very short game if you are older than a 7 years old who plays these kind of games first. I finished the story in 3:47 and collected everything one hour later (you have to go back to some levels with new moves to get all items)
What I really loved in this game is really its truthful representation of the show. But as a game it is very short and not something that you will replay in years or ever.

The graphics were decent, and even though there was a lack of sound effects, I could still bare with it. However, this game proof no challenges at all.
All the enemies have the exact same design except for some minor changes, and it was so easy to defeat them. I wasn't even sure they were attacking at all, cause they seem to pause for a few seconds before actually attacking you! Making it so easy for you to defeat them.
The boss fights were so easy, as every single attack and moves they do are repeats, and I meant every single boss does the same attacks over and over again. The designs for all the bosses even look the exact same.
The storyline was so weak, and cliche; I practically guessed the entire storyline once it started.
There was also hardly any dialogue at all between the characters, and there was not even a single voice over for them.
Most importantly, you can finish this game in less than 3 hours and the post-game portion was horrible.
I get that this game is for kids but geez, it was definitely not worth $30. It was a major disappointment.
Well, it LOOKS like a GF game, but it doesn't sound or play like it. It plays like a combination of washed down Rayman Origins with Sonic Boom 3DS and sounds like nothing, because characters don't even have voices.
SummaryGravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets, powered by the acclaimed UbiArt Framework game engine, brings the look and feel of the show to Nintendo 3DS systems. Meet characters like Soos, Grunkle Stan, Old Man McGucket, and more.
