Samurai G could have been about anything -- Godzilla, grandmothers, ghosts or even gangsters. Unfortunately, UFO Interactive decided to make this particular samurai money hungry. Samurai G is an action game full of gold collecting, but the concept gets old far too quickly. If only there was an online leaderboard or a check point system!

This fast-paced samurai side-scroller can be hard at first, but after a few rounds it becomes a game worth coming back to.

Hastily constructed, poorly thought out and deeply unsatisfying: an endless runner you'll want to end. [Christmas 2012, p.111]

Samurai G has some good ideas but ultimately fails to deliver.

Samurai G is a terrible, horrible, not good very bad excuse for an endless runner. It's satisfied with regurgitating genre ideas and didn't even take the time to think about how to make those ideas work well before charging people actual currency for a flimsy prototype. If there is any running to be done here, it is as far away as possible.

I bought this game without looking at the Metacritic website, which I usually do. This game is bad and not worth the $2 I spent on it. TheI bought this game without looking at the Metacritic website, which I usually do. This game is bad and not worth the $2 I spent on it. The ninjas throwing stars at you are hard to see and you die very quickly. If you want a ninja game on the 3ds, buy Shinobi used for less than $8. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME... IT'S REALLY BAD AND NOT WORTH $2 Expand
