Accounting+ shows what a great vehicle VR can be for situational comedy... Enlivening snug environments with visual gags is one of the better ways to create fulfilling experiences that leverage the young medium’s strengths.
one of the best video games I've ever played. basically Stanley parable meets rick and Morty in vr
Pros - amazing dialog and voice acting, fun but simple gameplay, lots of easter eggs, truely makes you feel like your apart of what is going on
Cons - cant find the secret zoo level
10/10
Fantastic quick little game. If you are a fan of Justin Roiland's brand of humour then this is the game for you. Takes about 30min - 2hrs to try and experience everything, plus they just added a free new level!
There is lots of talk and evidence about a secret zoo level, but no one has found it yet. Could this be just another gag pulled by the developers?
Great hilarious fun game. Silly art style to match the silly humour but damn it's fun. It's one of my go to games to show off VR to friends.
Accounting+ is a novelty, brilliant to experience, but hard to recommend. I was highly entertained by my time with Accounting+, but after this review, I am thoroughly done with it.
A unique, bizarre and funny VR experience that’s well worth playing, but not quite so well worth buying. It’s one of the most obnoxious and wilfully offensive games you’ll ever play, but it’s also short and insubstantial, leaving you wondering ‘is that really it?’. Get a mate with PSVR to cough up, have a quick go and you’re laughing, but you might want to think twice before splashing out yourself.
The question of whether Accounting+ is for you comes down to how much you like Justin Roiland’s brand of humour and whether you are willing to support this monetarily. It is no doubt a hilariously entertaining game and a great start to Squanchtendo’s aspirations on PSVR, but you are simply not getting enough for the money with the minimal length and stunted translation to the PSVR platform.
This is one of the most intelligent and saddest games I have ever played. In my opinion everybody who is interested in VR should take time to experience this piece of art. If you don't like it you should ask yourself why. Thanks for making this! Kudos to the creators.
Dont get me wrong. This game is amazing and really creative but 10 dollars for a game that only gives 10 minutes more gameplay that the free version of it is not okay. This game is amazing and really well written but it is way to expensive for what you get.
Zero gameplay and almost as little charm. Behind the hype is a roughly designed game you can finish in about an hour. You might think the second time through will be as much fun. Except it isn’t. Most scenes contain two or three (sometimes only one) hotspot from where you interest with a few objects. There’s some branching but no puzzles to speak of. Humor is brash, sometimes abrasive, but rarely funny unless you’re already in the cult. Others might love it but, for me, most disappointing PSVR experience.
Save your money. Use it to buy candy or Hot Pockets, whatever else you may want. This game just makes me feel betrayed as a Rick and Morty fan... 30 mins of gameplay with pretty dry humor for 60% of it, I think I get why this was free on PC.
SummaryAccounting returns to its roots with Accounting+, a nightmare adventure comedy made by Crows Crows Crows and designed with Squanch Games. It’s got the guy who voiced Rick and Morty — for real this time.
