It's unlikely to win any awards, but it is fun and satisfying to play.
Chronicles of Mystery: Tree of Life is one of City Interactive's better efforts to date. For adventure fans, Sylvie's continuing escapades are certainly worth checking out.
Neat adventure game won’t get you on your knees but will let you spend a couple of enjoyable hours – and maybe inspire where you spend your next holiday. [Feb 2010]
The game’s many shortcomings make this a game that only the hardest hardcore adventure fans will even be able to get into, and the unimpressive puzzles and lackluster storyline might even turn them away.
The Tree of Life is a game that may appeal to hardcore adventure gamers, but be prepared to overlook a lot of very fundamental faults.
As a whole, Chronicles of Mystery: The Tree of Life is an average game that could keep adventure gamers busy until they finish and forget it.
