  1. Put simply, this is the best 2D beat-em-up that we've played on any format so if you're a fan of the genre and choose to veer away from stunning 3D fighters like "Soul Calibur," this is the game for you.
  2. 94
An excellent title and sure to satisfy even the most devastating of cravings.
  3. Amazing graphics, limitless playability. You just won't find a fighting game this good for a long time to come.

While it would be nice to have more available characters, Capcom vs. SNK will keep you busy for a very long time, mastering the nuances of the fighting engine and unlocking the huge amount of hidden features.
  5. 88
Obviously, the game's got a lot going for it -- but we can't help but notice several glaring omissions in the character roster.
  6. The two companies have succeeded in creating a good game but perhaps haven't reached their potential.
  7. All in all, this is easily the best fighting game on the market along side "Vampire Chronicles."
  8. if you're looking for an accurate match-up between the two companies, forget it. For the rest of us though, Capcom just delivers some good, old-school 2-D fighting action, and we all need some of that.
  9. Capcom vs. SNK may not have as an impressive roster or flashy supers but it does bring together the two worlds we thought would never collide.
  10. Fans of either series would do well to check the game out.
  11. Capcom and SNK fans will be wettin' their pants for this one -- everyone else (including fight fans accustomed to more sophisticated graphics) will find this tepid at best. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is a much more exciting game.
  12. What maybe should have been "The ultimate 2D fighting game" winds up being little more than "Just another brawler."
  13. A fun game, created around a fantastic concept; however, it's not quite the game fans would have wanted it to be.
  14. Has it turned out to be everything fighting fans had hoped and dreamed of? In a word, no. But the game is still a good fighter.
  15. It's not the greatest 2D fighter on Dreamcast, "Marvel vs Capcom 2" and "Alpha 3" hold that crown but by all means this is another great Capcom fighter.
  16. 50
Whilst Capcom vs SNK Millenium Fight doesn't set the 2D fighting world alight, it's a fun, slightly flawed, yet visually impressive bundle of joy in an orange case. Can we say fairer than that?
  17. While Capcom vs SNK certainly adds some flavor to the "Street Fighter" pot, it doesn't change the main course at all. Too bad, considering what this game could have been.
