Beat City's delightful presentation and supercatchy chip-tune soundtrack will get your toes tapping and your head banging in no time. [May 2010, p.85]
A decent addition to any rhythm game enthusiast's collection, no matter what the age or experience level. However, older or more experienced gamers may find that the game lacks challenge and that the game's aesthetic is a tad too cheery.
The game is short, and it won't take much time at all to complete. What Beat City lacks in length, it makes up for with fun, rhythm-based gameplay and a silly sense of humor.
Fun series of mini-games loses its appeal all too quickly.
