Brio devise a new kind of evil - a text-messaging, do-anything device which controls both mutant and bandicoot minds. Armed with his quick-wits and lightening agility, Crash must free his friends, the titans and save the day. Not only does Crash gain the ability to control his enemies when he jacks them – now he can store his favorite monsters in his pocket, upgrade them and utilize their powers when they are most advantageous. Wumpa Island becomes a "free-romping" environment, allowing players to travel and explore through intersecting worlds, with different gameplay options available depending on what creature you've brought along for the ride. Your co-op partner is Crash's sister, Coco, playable for the first time in the cooperative mode. Not only does Coco make the game that much more inviting for girls to pick up and play, she also brings with her a new tactile "treasure hunt" ability. [Sierra Entertainment] Expand

  1. Folks who are looking for a new Crash Bandicoot should be satisfied with Crash: Mind over Mutant. On the whole, the game is made for younger players, but it will also entertain more experienced users for a while.
  2. I will have to say that Crash: Mind Over Mutant is a very fun and innovative game that is easy to get into and play.
  3. I understand that Crash: Mind Over Mutant is good on the consoles. Not great, but good. It seems that a little more time and effort could have gone into the DS version, and it makes me sad.
  4. Mind Over Mutant gets more wrong than it gets right, leaving anyone who picks up the game with nothing more than the aching feeling of buyer’s remorse.
  5. I'm sorry, this game just really disappoints.
  6. Crash: Mind Over Mutant is a competent platformer. While it leaves much to be desired in terms of depth and level design, fans of the titular Bandicoot or starved DS platform lovers may enjoy it. Others should pass this one by.
  7. A very dull, poorly designed 2D platformer that fails to thrill or challenge. [Jan 2009, p.77]

Why is this like this, I've been a crash fan since 2 and I tried to like this game. This game tried to be like the Crash games on the GBA and it fails. Crash of the titans on the Ds is a 3d platforming brawler like the psp, and console versions but not mind over mutant. The psp version is like the console version while the ds version is a clunky, uninspired, 2d platformer. What were they thinking while making this, oh yeah, big cash cow money train. Don't buy this game, ether get the gba games or the console version Expand
