In Dawn, rumors have spread that the Night Crow Team, from Dark Moon, was responsible for the incident. However, a conflicting report surfaces in Dusk claiming the responsibility falls on the Light Fang team from the Sunshine district. With both sides accusing the other, players take the role of an opposing tamer to investigate and uncover the truth behind the dangerous tremors. In Digimon World Dawn and Dusk, players are given two different perspectives of the catastrophe through the eyes of opposing tamers all the while collecting and evolving more than 400 Digimon from eight different species. Additionally, each game contains rare and unique Digimon that can only be obtained through wireless communication with the other version. New and improved Digifarms can help foster abilities and boost Digimon stats that can help gain an edge over enemies. [Namco Bandai Games] Expand

Give this one a chance, especially if you're into this unique brand of games. If you were surprised by the quality of the new Pokémon games, or if you're a long-time Digimon fan, this might be a game worth playing.
  2. The battle system is well-implemented and interesting.
  3. If you're looking for monster RPG different than Pokemon this is your game. Just don't expect it to be as good as Pokemon, despite the cooler looking evolved monsters.
  4. This is a pity, as Digimon: Dusk has really taken the genre in new directions and done things I only wish Pokemon and other games like it would do. Some call Digimon an imitation. I call it an evolution of the genre.
  5. The online trading will allow you access to Digimon in both the Dusk and Dawn version. If you're a fan, expect a lot of game.

Series fans'll eat it up , but others may want to contemplate whether learning the Digiropes is something they're really willing to invest in.
  7. Digimon fans will find the multiplayer worthwhile, but the dull story mode is basically just a rehashing of the previous Digimon World.

I've played it a lot and can say that I really like the DigiFarm, the huge variety in the strength of Digimon, and how Digimon digivolve. A few big things I hate are the lack of fresh level Digimon(as well as many other Digimon like Yokomon, Bukamon, and lots of the one ones that are Armor Digivolved,) the pretty boring storyline, the dependency on having a Dawn player to trade with since that has all the good Digimon(only ones that you aren't able to get on Dawn without trading with Dusk are Piedmon and Apocalymon, and they're way less important than Guilmon, Chibomon, and Airdramon,) and the lack of ways to engage with the NPCs in any meaningful way. Glitches and fairly unimpressive artwork in general compared to most games don't help its case either. Expand
