  1. Supersonic Warriors 2 is one of those games that, at first glance, seem not worth bothering with; however, once you learn how it works and put it through its paces, it's extremely satisfying.

Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 is by far the best handheld DBZ game, period. The battle is fast and fierce, the visuals are stunning, and the amount of replay value crammed into the cart will keep any fan going for quite a long time.
  3. With the storyline mode alone, it adds many hours to the game play. You will not just sit down and play it through on a single sitting rather you will be drawn back over and over to play it.
  4. A good, solid foundation was laid to make this a good portable fighter, but there wasn’t enough to back it up.
  5. The lack of variety within game modes, annoying music and repetitious combat left me with the same feeling I had after playing through the original.
  6. Love Dragon Ball Z and you’ll like the game.
  7. A deluxe version of the GBA title and not a heck of a lot more.
  8. 70
While the game faithfully translates Akira Toriyama's DBZ world onto the DS, the game stumbles in a few areas. Across the entire character roster, basic attacks from fighter to fighter are basically all the same. Meanwhile, the AI alternates between two wildly different moods--really dumb, or really cheap.
  9. 70
As much as I'm a fan of the DBZ series, if I was to choose between this title and a King of Fighters title for the GBA, I'd choose the latter without batting an eye.
  10. Though still providing some fun, fast-paced fighting action, Supersonic Warriors 2 lacks some of the care of its predecessor and feels like a somewhat slapdash GBA-to-DS conversion.
  11. It suffers from an overly simplistic fighting engine, weak animation and a story mode that skims past major plot points with all the bluster of 10th grade chemistry class. [Jan 2006, p.114]
  12. Despite a cast of over 30 characters, the part where each character uses the exact same moveset means things get tedious rather quickly.
  13. 40
To further add insult to this game, Super Sonic Warriors 2 just doesn't look all that impressive and the touch screen implementation is mediocre at best.

  1. It is overall a pretty fun game. The score suffers though from the fact it feels like there were too few improvements compared to the GBA version, and because of it's severe balancing issues. Full Review »

good but too short and too sterile improvments: more characters more arena's tournament mode wifi more moves better graphics

Supersonic Warriors 2 is an okay game...it adds more stuff to the series but the game is pretty easy (at least the first SS game has some challenge) plus there are certain spelling errors in a DS game...more errors than what you expected... Overall it's good but it is disappointing due to lack of challenge and spelling errors Full Review »
