  1. Solid, but it could have been so much more. [Jan 2006, p.115]
  2. There are problems with the game's controls, physics, and artificial intelligence, which often make the process of playing the game more frustrating than fun.

The game just doesn't gel at all: control is bad, objectives are confusing, and the visuals don't come anywhere near what EA did with the previous DS NFS game.
  4. The best that can be said for the game is at least it’s not a direct port of the GBA game. However, it would definitely be a better game if it had been.

Is it just me or someone here who absolutely loved the PS2 version of this game couldn't enjoy this? This is the one game i'll avoid at all costs. It's so not worth it. Expand
