I always liked simcity on PC and overall this stays pretty true to the franchise, you can build up a city through the ages and unlock new buildings to watch your sims thrive. The only problem is that you have less freedom to do what you want in this game. There are always things going wrong and yu can only have 2 saves which means that those people who want to have serious cities and fun cities will really have to choose carefully. The map is also too small which means that it gets too hard to keep growing your city. If you like simcity like I do you will still find enjoyment for a while but its the little things that let it down. Expand

Sim City Creator is a great game. The controls are easy to master and the graphics are good enough. The problem is, it's too slow.

The game's slow pace is extremely frustrating, to the point where you feel less inclined to play the game. I've had this game since the year it came out and I'm still on Dawn of Civilization(the very first level). In fact, since I didn't seem to be getting
anywhere, I've more or less given up. It's a frustrating game, which is a same because despite the slow pace, the game is otherwise fun to play. Expand

A worthy entry in the series that manages to one-up its DS predecessor.
  2. While it's essentially the same as it ever was, the added bells and whistles make this the best SimCity game on the DS.

This DS version is a pretty big departure from most SimCity efforts. Switching things up isn't necessarily a bad thing, but a game with "Creator" in its title should make the player feel more like a God than a clumsy urban planner taking vague orders from a cartoon boss.
