  • Summary: In the third-person action-adventure game The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, players take on the roles of Rick O'Connell and his son, Alex (played by Brendan Fraser and Luke Ford, respectively, in the film). Gamers follow the lead characters on their harrowing journey - across exotic locations from ancient Chinese catacombs to beautiful, but dangerous, Himalayan peaks - to defeat the revived servants of the Dragon Emperor (Jet Li). The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor allows players to switch seamlessly between gunplay and hand-to-hand melee attacks, and also features a fast and fluid combat system and an arsenal of weaponry that can be used to vanquish the many bone-chilling enemies players will face during their journey. 1. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is a text-book example of a rushed movie tie-in that does nothing for either the movie or the gaming industry. Leave this Mummy in its wrapper.
  2. Apparently, fun has the same agent as Rachel Weisz; it’s not in this game, either.
  3. 45
A pretty typical bad movie game. The plot is muddled and glossed over, the gameplay is shallow and stifling, and the difficulty is needlessly hard for a handheld game based on a summer blockbuster.
  4. Typically shabby movie tie-in that will have you running for your mummy.
  5. Only slightly less painful than getting your brain removed through your nose.
