Awesome game! Nice 3D graphics, huge scenarios, various vehicles to transform, different types of missions and... Hey! We can play as Decepticons!

Okay, best DS game ever, best storyline game ever, only flaws are the poor grphics and the amount of charecters you can be (no scroponok or Bonecrusher!) but Impresive, and I have made the right move here.

It's a blast to terrorize the populace, and picking up cars and hurling them at autobots. impressive open city for a DS. die autobot scum!

Definitely the most awesome Transformers game I've played. It fills in background info that the movie leaves out, you can scan and play as a whole bunch of different vehicles and choose their color schemes to boot, you can play as almost all of the characters from the movie, and the overall gameplay is just fun. A must have for any Transformers fan.

The transformers licensed games are usually not that good. this licensed game, however, managed to do pretty well. The story for the game is great. tying in the story with the create-a-bot manages to work, and is well written in general. the gameplay is pretty fun. the combat and open-world roaming is pretty cool to do, and with numerous vehicles to choose from and scan, the replay valueThe transformers licensed games are usually not that good. this licensed game, however, managed to do pretty well. The story for the game is great. tying in the story with the create-a-bot manages to work, and is well written in general. the gameplay is pretty fun. the combat and open-world roaming is pretty cool to do, and with numerous vehicles to choose from and scan, the replay value is big in this game. the graphics are pretty cool for a ds game. each bot looks well done, though the environments clearly show that they're on the ds, as you can see where points and edges of floors are. the voice acting is surprisingly very clear, especially for a ds game, and each person's voice work fits perfectly with each character. the music is also excellent, fitting perfectly with the Decepticons. my man problem with the game is glitches. there are some ways where it is very easy to make a glitch occur, and this sometimes gets bothersome. Overall, Transformers: Decepticons is a great underrated ds title that should be checked out by fans of transformers. Expand

Solid, fun little GTA-clone. For the first time in a Transformers game i actually feel like there's a BENEFIT to transforming. Surprisingly well-done, with a boatload of voicework. Go Decepticons!

This is possibly one of the most underrated games of all time. Epic graphics for the time and for the DS, great gameplay, great story, and great customization for a DS game. Besides, you can play as StarScream and Megatron!!!

  1. This game may not be a pillar of innovation or creativity, but it is fun. The combat is straightforward and the single player campaign is short, but fans will definitely have a good time here. The game is structured very well for a handheld platform and there’s enough replayability to keep you coming back for a while.
  2. Obviously, this is a game targeted to a specific audience, and while non-Transformers fans will find plenty to like it might be best as a rental. But for those who thrive in the world of high-tech morphing robots, the Battle for the AllSpark is a most tempting gameplay feature that will have thousands of gamers making daily contributions to the ongoing war.

When it comes to fighting as the robot or the vehicle, Transformers DS falls flat. The action and its technique really needs a bit of a tune-up, especially in the "defense" department, and the glitches that pop up from time to time are really hard to ignore.
