  1. Transformers on the DS is a fun and challenging game and surprisingly superior to the lackluster effort on the PSP.
  2. 77
The game is leaps and bounds beyond the original, and the Battle for Earth mode is truly one of the most addictive distractions I have experienced in a DS game this year.
  3. All of this makes for a meaty package, but the gameplay does feel repetitive and unfair at times. Revenge of the Fallen is clearly meant for big fans of the license, but is still a solid game on its own.
  4. 70
The finished product has its issues, but at the very least, it's a satisfying action game and represents the Transformers well.
  5. Though the game moves in a completely linear fashion, with quite a few missions that aren't very enjoyable to run through, there are other elements of the game that are admittedly compelling and addictive.
  6. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on DS is a whole lot better than the terrible movie and a decent action game in its own right. The online Battle for Earth mode offers new content for months to come, but don’t be tricked into buying both the autobots and decepticons versions of the game—they’re basically the same thing with a different coat of paint.
  7. Overall, I'm not sure that I'd suggest Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen – Autobots to anyone other than die-hard Transformer fans, even though it really doesn't do the franchise any justice.

Nope, nothing's changed from its predecessor; "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Autobots" is still the same crappy Autobot DS game with crappy missions and o% engagement to the player. Expand

I actually enjoyed the first transformers DS game. That's why I was so disappointed with this game. The character customization is not as good. You create your own autobot and use energon to level up his stats but you are locked to the first vehicle you choose unlike the original game. This game is also a lot shorter than the original and the missions are not as fun. The game leaves out the best bits of the movie and doesn't let you play as many charcters either. The missions are uninteresting as well like capture points or protect an objective. This game was just boring and short and has less content than the first. Expand
