    All of this makes for a meaty package, but the gameplay does feel repetitive and unfair at times. Revenge of the Fallen is clearly meant for big fans of the license, but is still a solid game on its own.

    Though the game moves in a completely linear fashion, with quite a few missions that aren't very enjoyable to run through, there are other elements of the game that are admittedly compelling and addictive.

    Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on DS is a whole lot better than the terrible movie and a decent action game in its own right. The online Battle for Earth mode offers new content for months to come, but don’t be tricked into buying both the autobots and decepticons versions of the game—they’re basically the same thing with a different coat of paint.

    Overall, I'm not sure that I'd suggest Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen – Autobots to anyone other than die-hard Transformer fans, even though it really doesn't do the franchise any justice.

    Nope, nothing's changed from its predecessor; "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Autobots" is still the same crappy Autobot DS game with crappy missions and o% engagement to the player.… Full Review »
