Flick Kick Football Legends is a passionate tribute to 70s soccer teams, packed with a brand-new, full match gameplay.
If you can shrug off those ads, which would take shoulders of steel, Flick Kick Football Legends has a lot to offer. But I’m probably not alone in thinking I would have gladly paid a few bucks to play this game and saved myself some misery in the process.
A great-looking and highly promising spin-off to Flick Kick Football that trips up on bitty gameplay and an irritating funding system
Despite solid controls, cool and playful presentation, and decent depth, Flick Kick Football Legends shoots itself in the foot with invasive advertisements and a too-short stamina meter.
There's a fun, casual soccer game here, but it's hampered by some slow timers wrecking the momentum.
Do give it a go, but unless we get a premium version of the game in the months ahead, do be prepared for long-term disappointment.
