Even though the 2004 edition has some minor tweaks here and a couple of changes there, essentially it's just a better tasting version of last year's game... in a new wrapper.

  3. The way the CPU fields the ball is disappointing at times, as is the lack of a player editor or a franchise mode, but you'd have to be really discerning to let those shortcomings prevent you from enjoying this game.
  4. Acclaim made a lot of improvements and did a great job at capturing some of the spirit of baseball, but the actual on-field experience seems a little off. [Apr 2003, p.64]

The last game was better because you could do things better than 2004. stealing second is much easier than the last game because the shortstop run so it would be a shorter throw. it is easier to strikie out in 2004 than it is in 2003 if you are on rookie because it goes so slow. Expand
