A really good game, despite the fact that Mickey Mouse is the main character. I just wish it was longer.[Oct 2003, p.52]

Any hint of challenge, even in hard mode, is also gone. Magical Quest 2 isn't bad, but should have been better. [Oct 2003, p.72]
The original game offered a lot more of a challenge...and anyone who actually enjoyed that game will come into Magical Quest 2 wondering when the difficulty level will start to increase. It doesn't. It's over too quickly.
The lack of variety, depth, length and innovation will leave much to be desired.
As brief as it is shallow -- pacing the gamer through six modest levels of gameplay -- there is little to no reason for you to invest in this title.
