A very addictive and lengthy FPS.
-
90Even if you've never played any of the DOOM titles, if you like first-person shooters and you own a Game Boy Advance, DOOM II is an absolute must-have game.
-
A complete port of the original. It has every enemy, every weapon, and every single level - even the secret ones.
-
I was surprised at how fast this GBA version of Doom moved. It can really haul. [Dec 2002, p.152]
-
This is what Doom is, and for those whove never played the PC original before, its wonderful.
-
81There are a handful of other first-person shooters on the GBA, and a few of them are certainly more complete when it comes to overall design, but none are as vicarious or as stimulating as Doom II.
-
78A definite improvement over the original Doom, but its impact in the GBA market is much less pronounced from the first game.
-
60A great game, steep in challenge and offers very little but repetitive running and shooting, you will know if you are going to like it from the box, what you wont know is if you have anywhere with the required lighting to be able to play it.
-
Some average gameplay and graphics team with some decent sound this game isnt horrible but not great either.
-
60The big problem when playing Doom II, however, is just trying to see it.
-
While other games have taken the ball and ran with it, Doom has just been content to play hacky sack.
-
45Just running around blasting things and hunting for keys isn't fun anymore. When you also remove the feeling of having a LAN party from the multiplay, you're not exactly left with a must-play game.
