    Based off the old tv show of the same name (that I never watched) this 2D platformer manages to have some good features and ideas, but is weighed down by an anchor of mediocrity and a few poor design choices. Let me start by giving you the good, the graphics are nice, although nothing all that great, that sound is pretty awesome, and the actual platforming isn't that bad, it also at times have multiple paths so you can choose which way you want to go through the level, which is something I wish more platformers would do. Now for the bad, the controls are stiff, unreliable, and at times a little slow to respond which can lead to some frustrating deaths. The game also forces you to take blind leaps of faith to a platform that's offscreen, or during a slope sliding section place a bottomless pit just at the end of it that you can't see until it's too late. Both of those things also lead to frustrating deaths, luckily this is made less irritating by the fact that you have unlimited lives and checkpoints to ease your pain, but later on in the game when levels get more challenging the checkpoints are placed farther from each other, which is irritating when you finally make it past a hard part that's been giving you trouble only to die just before the checkpoint because you didn't know that pit was there or where that platform offscreen was, making it a trial and error experience. If your a fan of the show you might be willing to put up with these issues, but for others the stiff and awkward controls and trial and error gameplay mar what is otherwise a decent platformer.… Full Review »
