  1. By far the best Madden game to date and it features the best update to any game of its kind.
  2. As good as Madden 2004 is, I distinctly remember playing this game before. Twice actually. I know there isn’t a ton that can be changed, and I know that the console versions don’t change much, but there can be something done here I’m sure.
  3. There are a number of things that EA Sports could have improved upon from the previous game, but this series is still far and away the best for anyone looking for a traditional football game on Nintendo's popular handheld.
  4. The brighter colors means that, even if you weren't lucky or financially stable enough to pick up a GBA SP, you'll still be able to see the game pretty clearly.

Yes, the game is still fun. Yes, the game will please fans of the classic old-school Madden. But keeping the game nearly identical every year isn't going to get you any new fans. Let's freshen it up for next year, hmm?
  6. Updated rosters and the always-entertaining create-a-player are all welcome in this installment of Madden on the GBA. Unfortunately, there just isn't enough here to warrant another purchase if you already have last year’s game.
  7. It's slightly tweaked and certainly a good game but so were the previous ones. Unless this is your first Madden football game then don't bother.
