  1. Falls closer to mediocrity than it does greatness. The basic gameplay is sound enough -– the screen scrolls very quickly and the controls are responsive, but after a few plays you'll notice that the cars all follow the same pattern and this is one of many flaws in the overall AI.
  2. A decent if not repetitve drive. [Mar 2002, p.137]
  3. There is no solid gameplay to back up what is, at the onset, a graphically engaging 2D engine, complete with special effects.
  4. Unless you stay within the given path, you're guaranteed to lose every race. [Feb 2002, p.66]
  5. Imagine a slow, confusing version of "Grand Theft Auto" minus the crime and the fun.
