  • Summary: The hit series on Cartoon Network is back for more on Nintendo Game Boy Advance with NARUTO: Ninja Council 2! Delivering solid side-scrolling, vertical or horizontal ninja action for 1-4 players the students of Kakashi are being challenged to become the greatest ninjas in the village. Naruto and his teammates are determined. With every new survival challenge thrown at them, they must decide who is best suited for the battle and use teamwork to make it past the toughest of enemies. The spontaneous bravery of Naruto isn't always the best choice; sometimes it requires the consistent skills of Sasuke, or the smarts of Sakura. Now, players can switch from any of the three teammates on the fly and call in their friends for help. The opponents are fiercer than before and have special powers that Naruto and his friends could only imagine. Are they ready for this test? Believe it! Collapse

  1. Even though Naruto: Saikyo Ninja 2 is a good playthrough it doesn't have anything special to make the game stand out.
  2. Naruto fans will really enjoy this game and fortunately the way the game was developed, the rest of us will too.
  3. Dashing sequences and platforming bits do well to break the monotony, and the character animation is silky smooth. [Nov. 2006, p.104]
  4. It's as if the level designers didn't play the game, or at least not enough to realize that the game's mushy response to your button presses doesn't support the level of difficulty at which the jumping and fighting challenges are set. [Dec. 2006, p.113]
  5. A largely unoriginal action/platformer that does little to expand its genre.
  6. 50
Ninja Council 2 attempts to focus more on the fighting and less on the exploration, but fails to retain the tight gameplay of the original in the process, making for a game with far more detail and style, better character animations, but a weak overall feel.

One of the big problems with making a cheap side-scroller is with the addition of garbage AI, the game is just a lot of run from Point A to Point B, with the beat-up people areas providing barriers.

Naruto: Ninja Council 2 is one of the best Game Boy Advance games i've played, graphically it's a great looking game, the sound is pretty good, the controls are amazingly well done making access to jutsu easy, my only complaints are that it is short and it's easy this is one of the few games i can beat in one sit down, all in all i would highly recommend this game Expand

It was a fun game while it lasted. It was too short, beat it in 4 hours.
