  1. It’s next to impossible to recommend Power Rangers: Ninja Storm to anyone but young fans of the T.V show. It’s simplistic, easy, and relatively short.

Turn-based Megazord battles add variety between the side-scrolling missions. [Nov 2003, p.154]
  3. Ninja Storm has some good graphics, but the rest of the game falls up short due to redundancy and boring level design.
  4. No doubt, everything works in Ninja Storm. I just find it too limited with only two buttons for attack, one for blocking and one for jumping. There aren't any significant combos to learn in the game.

Good controls that respondThis is a simple, by the books, been there done that beat-em-up with some Power Rangers in it, but it's a nice one. Good controls that respond well in the beat-em up section, and if you have a blaster which you can level up, if could turn into, you could say, a Power Rangers version of Contra. The Megazord battles are a bit tough, but once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. The graphics are decent, with the Wind, Thunder, and Samurai Rangers look mostly like their TV show counterparts with some digitized pictures of them too, and the animation is very well done. The music is OK, though I took a liking to level 1 and 3's music. I also like how if you pick a certain group of Rangers, you can switch between them with the select button, and how the graphics on certain levels, mostly level 3, are randomly generated so that you won't play the same level twice in a row.

There isn't too much of a story but if you're familiar with Ninja Storm's story you'll know who the villains are. The gameplay is also very repetitive, but if you're a big fan of beat-em-ups, this won't be too bothersome.

If you're a fan of Power Rangers, particularly Ninja Storm itself and beat-em-ups, in general, then I can brave the weather and recommend this game. If not, then steer clear.

The brawler isn't that innovative, and the mecha battles are infuriating and frustrating, this is a bad game that wont recover by this wound. The brawler isn't that innovative, and the mecha battles are infuriating and frustrating, this is a bad game that wont recover by this wound.
