  • Summary: The tiger returns to take back the Outback in Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2. The evil Boss Cass has broken out of Currawong Jail and has hatched a plan to take over the world with an army of Uber Reptiles. Now it's up to Ty, the boomerang-wielding hero, and his newly formed team of Burramudgee Bush Rescue mates to stop him. As Ty, you can explore an expansive open environment on foot or in a vehicle. You'll also have access to more boomerangs and mech units, each with special powers and abilities. Expand

  1. A pretty standard platform game but its fidelity to the console version is excellent so bravo to Krome Studios and Halfbrick Studios.
  2. Not only is it an excellent 2D side-scroller with a lot of content, but the best part of all is the number of fun weapons and vehicles you have in your arsenal.
  3. It's an excellent game for kids, with just enough challenge and depth to give them a truly fulfilling experience.
  4. The game had good graphics and gameplay, but suffers from some extraneous features (gold-plating) and a low replay value.
  5. It's not bad, per se, but the level designs and basic gameplay are just too uninspired to warrant a look from any but the most ardent fans of the genre. [Dec 2004, p.190]
  6. Not the wonderful surprise on the GBA that it was on the consoles, but it does serve its purpose in bringing Ty to the portable realm.
  7. The level design isn't particularly creative, but the overall game is lightly humorous, action-packed fun. [Jan 2005, p.140]

This game is awesome, gameplay wise and graphically it is superior to any GBA title I've seen on the market yet. More fun in this game than in the last 5 I've played. Expand
