  • Summary: Driven by a completely new and original storyline, James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire is a first-person action game that balances furious action and stealth tactics. An evil world organization has been replacing world leaders with their more docile clones and it's up to you to put a stop to it. As Bond, you'll encounter villains and allies, both new and familiar, detailed 3D environments, and spy-packed, fast-action gameplay. And don't worry, Q will provide you with all the innovative weapons, sophisticated spy-craft, and state-of-the-art gadgets that Bond fans expect. Expand

  1. One of the only games to really succeed at incorporating multiple gameplay styles into one package and doing all of them well. [May 2002, p.85]
  2. Really fun!...In the end, this game is nothing like "Goldeneye." That’s a good thing in my opinion.
  3. Don't expect "GoldenEye 007"--the first-person shooter levels are basic and require little stealth. It's the vehicle levels that are a blast. [Apr 2002, p.146]
  4. As far as the graphics are concerned, PS2 owners can be both jealous and egotistic. The Game Cube version features a hell of a lot less jaggies, as well as smoother looking characters, but there's some weird slowdown in a cinema or two, and the movies look a bit lower in quality.

This game is amazing-- the variety of guns is cool, and the multiplayer mode takes it up to a higher level. Without the multiplayer, I would have rated it 7.5. Expand

This is a very worthwhile game. Fun and ingauging. I'm new to the Gamecube but I have so far not been disappointed.

It is fun and you can play it for pretty long but it wasn't as challenging as other bond games. Games should quit getting easier and easier to beat. Can eat the game on OO agent in about a little less than 5 hours. Expand

I can't belive the scores you guys are giving this game. AUF is so bloody short and easy that it isn't even worth a rent. The AI is stupid, the weapons dull, the levels boring and the constant hints are a pain in the arse. And the multiplayer is not good. It stinks. It has bad level design and poor bot AI. Even with four players it still stinks so much you could choke to death in your living room. Expand
