Mario Party 5 Image
  • Summary: Mario Party 5 gives the Mario Party series new game boards, more than 60 new minigames, new playable characters, an expanded single-player mode and, of course, more multiplayer madness than you can handle. In Mario Party 5, Mario and his friends are trying to restore peace to Dream World by racing around a collection of game boards. This time around, players can change the location of event spaces by using special capsules found on each board. The player with the most stars and coins at the end of the game wins. Expand

  1. Adds a few nice modes to the Mario Party series, but if you already own "Mario Party 4" there is absolutely no reason to upgrade.
  2. The control scheme changes during each minigame, so unless you know already know how to play it, you should read the directions and the controls that go with it.
  3. I was hoping that Mario Party 5 would be better than last year’s effort. While certain aspects of the game are a move in the right direction, the overall game fails to please.

This game is totally amazing! There is so much packed into such a small disc! This one is so much better than Mario Party 4! There are so many mini extras to enjoy when you and your friends want to play! Expand

Mediocre. The only thing that keeps this series going are the new and fun minigames you hope will come up. Unfortunately, the Mario Party series has been declining steadily. I think MP 3 was the best. Better graphics can only take a game so far... Expand
