  • Summary: The mad scientist Mesagog plans to send the world back into the age of dinosaurs, and only the Dino Thunder Power Rangers can stop him. As one of these heroes, you must stop Mesagog and his Tyrannodrones by using the Dino Zords--powerful creatures that are part dinosaur and part machine. You can switch between Zords in the middle of missions and enhance their abilities with special power-ups. Test your skills in more than 50 different missions and minigames in 10 free-roaming worlds. 1. Although there's really nothing outrageously bad about Dino Thunder, I ofter found myself a little bored with being a giaint robotic dinosaur, which just shouldn't happen. [Dec 2004, p.16]
  2. Although the graphics are somewhat bare, the game does a great job of showing the explosive strength of the dinosaur-inspired fighters. [Dec 2004, p.146]
  3. The game’s ridiculously repetitive and uninspired gameplay, combined with production values that would make nearly any gamer cry don’t form a winning combination.
  4. Even kids who love things Power Ranger will bore quickly. I can honestly say that this is one of the worst games I have ever played, and I have played some stinkers.
  5. 45
Dino Thunder’s overall lack of depth, difficulty and graphical pizzazz will forever delegate it to your little brother’s (or sister’s) game shelf.
  6. Remember the good old days when one would control up to six power rangers instead of a measily three? It's a little weird having only three power rangers.
