  1. With any luck Krome's overhaul will prove lucrative enough to warrant them continuing the brand, flying Spyro into next-gen skies and who knows, perhaps a veritable rebirth. [Oct. 2006, p.54]
  2. Plays more like a scrolling beat-'em-up, and you know what? It's pretty damn good fun. [Christmas 2006, p.62]
  3. Unfortunately, the entire affair is filled with repeated waves of what amount to the exact same enemies, and it doesn't take long for boredom to set in.
  4. A button-masher that's unlikely to set you ablaze. [Dec 2006, p.39]

Overall, this is a great game with great graphics and combat scenes. The only thing I found dissipointing was that most of the enemys were the same, and the bosses got easyer as the game went on. I found it very entertaining reading the names of each individual monster though. Expand

Graphics were good. Some of the dialogue was entertaining but there was too much of it. Got tired of fighting the same enemy throughout the game. Big bosses were too easy. At least in the first games there was a goal--collect eggs, collect coins---this games whole purpose seemed to be fighting. Basically disappointed, didn't even take much time to beat either. Expand
