  1. Added to the PS2 extras, like the added indonesian jungle level, alternate pathways and mission reports, this is the quintessential version of the game. [Sept 2004, p.73]
  2. We're basically being screwed from behind while simultaneously being fed the most exquisite cuisine. What a predicament. Oh well... us GameCube owners are used to being screwed, so we may as well just close our eyes and taste the honey.
  3. With a bit of GBA connectivity for a field-map and some extra GBA levels as well as an “exclusive” GameCube level that’s been available to download on the Xbox for a couple of months, we definitely got the shorter end of the stick.
  4. Everything you loved about the first game is back and better than before. Sam’s new moves and gadgets are excellent and tightly integrated into the missions so they aren’t there just for the sake of having something new.

I just don't understand why people rate this game for the Gamecube so low. Okay, so it misses an online feature, but look at what's left of the game. It is a great game with lots of cool gadgets, a good storyline and it has tonns of action in it. So yeah, it doesn't have the online feature (which is great by the way) but it remains a good game. I would recommend this game to anyone who liked the first splintercell game, which didn't have an online feature at all on any console!, and to anyone who enjoys action, stealth and a great storyline. If you liked the first one, then this is a must buy. However, there's just not enough new content to interest those who didn't like the first. Also, only buy the GCN version if that's the only console you own. Expand
