Mar 29, 201280Bitter Sam is almost everything your usual 'cute-physics-based-puzzler-with-three-stars' game is not - its main character is a monster and depressed; you use cute animals as battering rams; you only have to collect one item; and you won't have to launch anything at a stack of wood, stone and glass... and yet despite all this, it's just as fun, cute and addictive as those sorts of games.

Mar 26, 201275The charm and humor of Bitter Sam is another one of the game's draws. It's hard not to like Sam's nonplussed facial expression, which rarely changes, even if he's holding a giant, writhing pig. Combined with the simple gameplay, which increases in challenge at just the right incline, Bitter Sam is one of those games that you'll try again and again it, if only to get that last pesky crystal.

Mar 26, 201270Bitter Sam may descend but it's not a deep plunge, nor is it innovative. But its comic appeal makes it a great a pick-up-a-play option for anyone who enjoys a pinch of irony with their gaming quick-fix.

Mar 23, 201270With 20 levels in each section and 5 sections to get through, there is plenty of fun to be had with Moon Active's game. Though it may be a bit short for the more accomplished gamer, Bitter Sam is still worth dangling some cash over the App Store for.
