Like any really good game, Bloons TD 4 is easy to learn, hard to master, but still a deeply satisfying experience at any level.

But like a jazz-master bringing new life to an old standard, or a Jazzercise-master making leg warmers fashionable again, Bloons TD 4 transforms the familiar into something fantastic. If, like me, you've wandered away from the tower-defending fold, this might be just the thing to bring you back.

An incredibly robust package that should keep any tower defense fan busy for quite some time.
  4. Feb 1, 2011
Bloons TD 4 is a fun tower defense game, but it doesn't bring anything new to this crowded table.
  5. Feb 1, 2011
Although tower-defense titles are no longer swarming on to the App Store, it's strange to see Bloons TD 4 sticking to the old formula instead of trying something more unique; a decent TD, but nothing outstanding.
  6. Feb 1, 2011
Bland, outdated gameplay and a poorly designed interface deflate the cutesy Bloons TD 4.
  7. Feb 1, 2011
I was amused by Bloons TD 4 at first, but after a while the game's nagging balancing issues became more and more apparent.

Hours of fun from the tower defence King, good to see a tower defence game that still follows the fixed route formula, and good gamecentre integration. Collapse

Bloons TD 4 is cramped and laggish in later levels, but it makes up for its flaws with being one of the strongest TD games on the app store right now.
