cronoSgear is a great match 3 game that is unique to the App Store. It is a fun formula, and it keeps evolving with cool units, and enemies. The presentation is overall ok.
ChronoSgear's deep gameplay makes it stand out as an excellent Match-3 game, despite some shortcomings on the RPG side.
Seamlessly combining a strategic RPG, a puzzle and a turn based strategy game into one was not an easy task, but Axion Logic appears to have done just that with chronoSgear.
Even if it's less polished than Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, chronoSgear can offer a truly fresh and uncommon experience, that is very different from any other RPG on the App Store. The combat system is clever, while setting and characters are really unusual. With the next updates, we hope Axion Logic will fix the controls and balance the difficulty.
Despite the light-hearted script and colourful visuals, chronoSgear is a riveting and mentally challenging proposition that skilfully melds two genres into a cohesive and enjoyable experience.
