A unique visual puzzler that all fans of the genre will enjoy.

There are a number of artful indie puzzle games out there with this philosophy, such as Hexagon, Eliss, ColorShift and Hundreds to name a few. The latest title that belongs in this company is the super slick puzzler Color Zen, which offers a unique and relaxing new look at the mobile puzzle game.

It's pleasant but shallow. That said, I recommend Color Zen unequivocally, and I'd easily plop down more money for even more content, especially if it gets more difficult.

A puzzle game so simple and wonderfully executed, you'll wonder why no one has done it before.

Color Zen is a puzzler that’s not like the rest thanks to its intuitive controls and relaxing gameplay. Instead of flying through levels, gamers will want to savor the experience.
  6. Jun 6, 2013
Color Zen is a rewarding experience from start to finish; I only wish that finish didn’t come so quickly.
  7. Jun 10, 2013
Color Zen is a original and stylish puzzler that will provide a stiff challenge to seasoned puzzle gamers.

Color Zen ($0.99, Universal) look promising on the surface, but below the colorful outer shell, there just isn’t much. It ends up blending in with the plethora of other puzzle games in the App Store making it one to skip.
