Fans of world building games who are keen to explore a bit more of the E.T. universe are well catered for by this garden sim. It may not be out-of-this-world, but it's a solid game with plenty to keep would-be green fingers busy. If I had to grade this, I'd give it a B-good.

Hopefully Chillingo will address these problems in a future update, because at its heart, E.T.: The Green Planet is a game that's as kindly and warm as the little guy himself.

E.T The Green Planet is a decent title for what it is. While not especially memorable, it's easily the finest E.T game to date. I bet even Drew Barrymore would be happy with this one.
