A jarring change from the previous album, but a listen or two shows that Plastic Beach is it's own beast. With interesting tones and mood changing tracks, this admittedly short but solid album isn't for everyone. But an open opinion and a respect for the albums individuality from other Gorrilaz works should give listeners an honestly unique and enjoyable experience.

Their whole existence as a band made up of digital characters seems like the perfect makeup for a great video game, but instead the developer went with a safe clone of another game. It almost feels like they didn't try.

Dive-bombing and sailing through the air as Murdoc in 'Gorillaz - Escape to Plastic Beach' is a fun, albeit brief experience for fans to check out.

I do not want to Escape to Plastic Beach. I want to escape from Plastic Beach.
