If cruising through wave after wave of similar disposable baddies in order to reach a challenging boss sounds repetitive to you, than the game might not feel so super. But if you've grown up on arcade classics and are looking for a cheap way to relive the thrill of incredible combos, then this is a must buy.

A nice beat 'em up with charismatic characters from DC Comics, but it presents some issues with the touch gameplay and graphics.

It might not have the longevity of its legendary cast of characters, but as long as you don't mind punching things a lot, Justice League: Earth's Final Defense will keep you entertained for a while.

Unlockable skills and a slapdash leveling system do little to help, while immovable virtual controls add salt to the gaping Batarang wound. [Nov 2012, p.92]

Justice League is not horrible, but these super heroes still deserve better than a mindless brawler.

Buried underneath the layers of poor progression and an insistent focus on repetitive grinding lies a game that beats with the action-packed heart of the Justice League, however being Earth's Final Defense may not be an option when you're given boring combat that you'll likely need to repeat over and over.
