Apr 20, 2011I love Max and the Magic Marker more in concept than in execution. If the platforming elements were tighter, and if the exploration elements were properly accommodated by the game, then this could be something truly special. However, as it stands, what you have is a game that is at times brilliant, but mostly frustrating.
Apr 6, 2011It's a shame that this porting of Max & The Magic Marker is the most poor version so far. Despite the developers' efforts, the small screen of the iPhone makes impossible to draw accurate lines and shapes. The iPad version is slightly better, but it still has some problems with the controls.

The frustrating bits are when your plan goes wrong and you have to erase your drawing, or when you slip into a deadly fall. Sometimes your stuff goes wrong, but with patience, you will see many cool ideas packed into this game.… Collapse
