Refines the gameplay of the Bust-A-Move titles while adding a few new twists to make this a great handheld version of the series.
A sound game indeed. While it is a little easy for Bust-A-Move veterans thanks to the huge arrow directing your aim, it still provides you with just what you want and the addition of boss battles and the Jump Shot ability is bound to enthral fans.
Frustrations aside, if you're looking for a good Match-3 puzzle, invite Bub and Bob back into your life. Just don't let their wide, happy smiles fool you into letting them look deeply into your soul: they eat dreams.
New Puzzle Bobble adds just enough gameplay gimmicks to freshen up its well-worn bubble-matching gameplay.
These control issues don't render the game unplayable, but they create more frustrating mistakes than you may be able to deal with.
Overall, the game has a lot of new material, and has potential to be good, although it is super annoying having to deal with that red arrow. Until they remove that my advice is to stay clear and go with the original.
