The real kicker here is that this fantastic game is only $2.99. What are you waiting for?

This absorbing and unique take on tower defense, or "flower defense", is brimming with personality.
  3. Feb 27, 2011
Plants Vs. Zombies goes beyond the game, becoming something more like a phenomenon.
  4. Feb 27, 2011
The 88 Metacritic score of the original Plants vs. Zombies (complete with 100's from multiple sources) just goes to show how great this game is. The iPhone port is absolutely phenomenal, and even though it's lacking a few game modes, there's always hope for them to be implemented in the future either via an update or a DLC add-on.

If the thought of a portable Plants vs Zombies appeals to you, or you just enjoy well made, fun, addictive games, this one is worth your time and money.

Plants Versus Zombies, for the small investment of $2.99, is one of the better purchases on the App store.

Despite being slightly on the easy side, PvZ is an absolutely stellar package, overflowing with so much charm and charisma that It's almost impossible not to be swept up in this wonderfully zany world.

The gameplay is just as well-balanced and finely tuned as it is in the PC version. The presentation is up to the same high standards, while the control system is perhaps even improved. Like so many PopCap titles, PvZ is slick, pretty, charming and funny.

The battle between flora and undead fauna remains as fun as ever in this accomplished iPhone and iPod touch version.
  10. Feb 27, 2011
The end product is really fantastic and stands right up there with PopCap's other hits like Peggle and Bejewelled.
  11. Feb 27, 2011
This is a humorous and addicting casual game, far from the tense and gory experience found in most zombie games.
  12. Feb 27, 2011
There's a reason Plant vs Zombies is one of the most popular Iphone games - and it's not just the moonwakling Michael Jackson-zombie. It's also a deep, satisfying and addictive tower defense game that's one of the best of its genre.
  13. Feb 27, 2011
Plants Vs. Zombies is another must-have game for the iPhone/iPod Touch, especially at the more-than-acceptable asking price of three bucks.
  14. Feb 27, 2011
Overall there's a lot of game here. Well made for those that like to sit down and play for hours or just play in quick bursts. If you enjoy strategy games, you'll enjoy Plants vs. Zombies.

Such an amazing addictive game! I love it so much. There is so much depth to it. It takes hours even days to beat, plus all the fun little game modes. It's a must-buy!!!! Full Review »

This game is a real blast, a must-own for all iOS users. Everything from the cartoon style graphics to the simple touch controls make for an experience that few other strategy defense titles have established on idevices. The gameplay is simple but allows for a surprising amount of depth and for of course strategy. The new updates even include the minigames and zen garden from the pc version, further completing this amazing iOS title. I have not played PvZ on any other platform, but I think I can easily say it is the most intuitive and fun on a touch device. Full Review »

It is one of the best iPhone games but only has 2 main modes and misses out some of the PC features, but it is cheaper at only £2. It has a lot of play time too. Full Review »
