Mar 1, 201180Ultimately, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within plays very well on iPhone, it looks great and, despite some instances, controls great too. The main issue I have with it though, is its console heritage, especially the save system.
-
Mar 1, 201180If you're willing to tough it out, though, and if you want a deeper, more satisfying gaming experience than the next Doodle app, then you should play Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. It just might make a gamer out of you.
-
Mar 1, 201175The difficulties you might expect from an iPhone 3D platformer are here, but they don't break the game, leaving Prince of Persia: Warrior Within a totally decent port of the PS2 game.
-
Mar 20, 201170So here's the thing; if you think you can cope with dodgy controls and annoying restarts and want to witness something of a minor miracle for gaming on the iPhone then Prince of Persia Warrior Within is worth downloading.
-
Mar 1, 201170Although it doesn't feel completely at home on iPhone, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is an impressive conversion of an excellent console game.
-
Mar 1, 201169Warrior Within is a good Prince of Persia game, despite the forced edginess. The time-shifting to both reverse death and solve puzzles is still effective.
-
Mar 1, 201167Although Prince of Persia: Warrior Within looks astonishing and smooth on iPhone 3GS, the same cannot be said for the previous iDevices, in which the game is affected by continuous loadings and less incisive graphics. A spiteful camera and unintuitive controls makes too hard jumping on the platforms, climbing on pilasters or running on the walls.
-
Mar 1, 201160A game with this kind of scope is a rare beast for the App Store, but Prince of Persia: Warrior Within has taken a bit of a beating to fit on there and action-fans may be disappointed at the result.
