Despite its icy atmosphere, Puzzle Retreat’s footing is solid.

The Voxel Agents strip things back for Puzzle Retreat and the end result is a zen-like block-sliding experience with a restrained, relaxing presentation.
Given such a high level of difficulty, Puzzle Retreat should last many players quite a while, providing they don’t mind that the sole competition involved is with themselves.
Puzzle Retreat is a well-conceived casual puzzler whose only flaws are a lack of spark and variety.
A nice challenging puzzler, but it offers nothing special to really draw you into its world, and its puzzles aren't so inventive or mind-boggling for you to go and tell your friends about.
