Shadowmatic is an ornately crafted challenge that moves beyond a game to create an immersive experience that is an absolute must have.
Simple to the point of beauty, and beautiful to the point of becoming a work of art, this is a game you won't want to win, because you won't want the experience to end.
If Zen Bound held any kind of appeal to you (and it should have), then Shadowmatic is the game you’ve been waiting for.
Shadowmatic is a surprisingly good puzzle game with some great atmosphere and excellent graphics.
Shadowmatic is a decent puzzler and fancy representative of the so-called zen gaming. Even though it doesn’t offer the variety or the challenge of The Room this is an entertaining experience.
There's no great depth or immersion to it as an experience. [Issue#158, p.109]
