In fact, excessive loading is the only negative with Star Wars Force Collection. That aside, it's a must for both fans of the series and card-collecting enthusiasts.
Sure it's pay-to-play and win, but there's a good deal of strategy here too. The developers work at it constantly and it has ever-changing events. Much more sophisticated than most such games.
I've been playing the game for about a week. What a continual Time ****. The game has two facets. Energy points and Battle points. Energy points are for Solo player questing. Battle points are for fighting other players. And the ammo? CARDS. I'm not paying for cards, and the ones I receive are great for my level, but the number of Pay to Play **** who are Super powerful, make progressing in the game a Solo adventure only. Seeing someone at level 20, who has five of the same five star maxed out card... the guy who slaughters my entire 175 cost point battle group with a single 25 cost 5 star Darth Maul the rage in his pants card - yeah. The Battle system is stupid. I'm level 25, and it always pits me against level 55 to 65 players, whom I have no hope of defeating or stealing a blue-print piece from. And I can't farm the nubes because the deathstar (captained by YODA?) will teach me a lesson. I have to say, this game is really becoming obsolete fast. If I was the kind of person who wanted to grind the lower level maps to get 4 star cards every 100th map or so, I'd be just as inclined to go chew on a log of wood. Maybe more so. It would be a much more productive use of my time.
Rage of Bahamut, but with a Star Wars twist: if you're sworn off card battlers then there's nothing for you here, but Star Wars fans just might find their next unhealthy addiction.
The one saving grace is that die-hard Star Wars fanatics can collect cards of all their favorite characters, even the more obscure ones like each individual alien from A New Hope's cantina scene. But even that novelty isn't enough to make Star Wars: Force Collection worthwhile to suffer through the insultingly unintuitive menus and boring, non-interactive card battles. It's a free download, but even then it's overpriced.
The game is a rip-off, I have spent a lot of money trying to get five star cards so I could compete and have never got one. I get defeated in battles by others who have not got anywhere near the same strength as my cards yet somehow I hardly ever win. I strongly suggest you stay away and save your money you will be ahead in the long run. I also complained to the company but have never received anything back from them. The game is a money pit that gives you nothing in return.
To be honest, this game don't deserve a **** overall gameplay **** system just **** you are a fanboy of Star Wars, don't even bother downloading this those who plays SWTOR,you will know what's quality and what's not. This isn't.Although it's free,it's not worth downloading it.I've personally downloaded 2 times to give the game a chance, since there are so many people rating it as good or **** each time I played, the first few minutes I really want to quit this damned **** you want to make a good card game, make it like transformers. This game tried so hard yet it **** system,is like a flash gameplay.Although I do not care about the graphics, but the gameplay really ****'s fighting scene, really **** really has no affiliation with any cards.I've played the first two battle scenes and I felt that this game is "mocking" Star Wars.Konami has lived up to its good reputation, but this game brought it down, for those who are fanboys or fangirls, they would no doubt agree with me.I want to live in the saga, but not like this crappy card **** it is a card game, don't get too complicated, make it simple, like Transformers.Honestly Konami,if you have no damn idea on how to make a decent Star Wars game, don't make ****'re just wasting your time and money.
would have been a great game, They charge too much for the card packs and even when you do spend money on them you usually get very bad cards still. It also seems to be full of Hackers as some people have fully evolved 5 stars, and it take 8 of the same 5 star to make it fully evolved. I doubt these people spent the thousands of dollars it would have taken to get 8 5 star Darth Vaders or Darth Mauls. If you just look on google their is apparently working Hacks for this game so i would avoid it at all costs. No fun when a cheater can just roll your whole deck with a single Fully Evolved 5 star. That are impossible to get without spending literally thousands of dollars on card packs.
