Overall, this is a great puzzle game. It is certainly not original, as it borrows heavily from some of the more popular games on iOS. However, it does enough to make the mechanics its own. If you like physics-based puzzle games, this is one that is well worth your time, as it features fun gameplay, beautiful visuals, and a fantastic soundtrack.

Swing King has you arcing your shots between anchor points in order to collect stars and reach your flying unicorn. Stylish and content-loaded, but nothing overly original.
  3. Jan 8, 2013
The game is full of those small touches that can easily go overlooked, but indicate true love on behalf of the developers: the golden crown that appears on your unicorn when all stars have been collected; the little speech bubble from the King when he's inside a fish cannon, saying "I'm in here!"; or the fact that one of the King's power-ups is an actual green sticky hand.
  4. Jan 9, 2013
Irreverent, eccentric, and with enough challenge to keep even the most accomplished Angry Bird expert on their toes, Swing King's 90-plus levels represent a dollar very well spent.
  5. Jan 9, 2013
This game is a no brainer for any fan of the physics puzzler genre, especially at a price of just $0.99 for a universal app.
  6. Jan 7, 2013
Overall, Swing King looks good, sounds good, and plays fine. And with so many levels (and even creative boss fights) included along the way, there's not much to complain about unless you're over the whole genre. If you have room in your life for one more game of physics and flinging, Swing King could be just the ticket.
  7. Jan 11, 2013
Familiar gameplay doesn't take away from Swing King's fun and challenging presentation.
