War of the Fallen is a card game with some compelling elements, but it is just a bit shallow.
A very conventional CCG that does nothing of note any better than the already well-established heavyweights of the genre. And I rather strongly suspect that most CCG fans will prefer to spend their time with games that aren't quite so enthusiastic about making them spend their money on it too.
War of the Fallen is an entertaining card battler for people who like card battlers, but there's nothing new here for anyone who's sworn off the genre completely.
Those wanting to dominate in battle against other players will receive an obvious advantage for investing money - rather than time - in the game.
