But Zombie Escape tosses real strategy into the mix with the addition of very different weapons that force you to rethink your attack plans every few stages.
Zombie Escape is better than most trace the path sort of games. There is far more incentive than just the high score battle that exists in similar titles, but it does not change the fact that is a path tracer, a genre term I have officially just coined.
Zombie Escape adds a few new twists to the line-drawing genre and even though things can get hectic it's a fun challenge to conquer.
Zombie Escape is approachable and deep, but the screen full of tiny characters make it feel cramped.
The game is fun overall. There is no real doubt about it, but to me it got a little bit repetitive and tedious after a little while.
Close enough to other line-drawing titles to feel familiar, but fresh enough not to turn stale, Zombie Escape is worthy of your time.
