J-STARS Victory VS+ is not perfect, but is the ultimate anime crossover and a must have for anyone who loves manga and Japanese animation.
It's a great tribute to a good amount of anime and manga characters, but when it comes to gameplay some ideas are better than others. Still, as a game, it is really fun, and particularly enjoyable if you like the franchises it is based on.

This game is for shonen jump anime fans only because only us, the fans can look past the game's faults and appreciate it for the masterpiece that it is. There are loads of things to do and the game is super fun.

This game is good fun and an honest fighting game for anime fans. If you are not a big fan you would waste your money, and maybe your money would be better invested in a naruto game or Dragon ball one, as this one is a mash up of Shonen mangas and anime. Strongly suggest it to all Toriko's fans

J-Stars Victory Vs+ accomplishes what it sets out to do. It is pure fan-service for fans of anime, most importantly the series it includes.
J-Stars Victory Vs. + mostly gets the job done when it comes to delivering a manic anime-based brawler for fans that have been waiting for the next Jump Superstars. But more could've easily been done with it, especially with the presentation and the fighting system.
Manga die-hards are bound to get a real kick out of J-Stars Victory VS+. The level of fan service here is on point and there’s a solid fighting game to back it up. That said, after just a few hours it begins to lose steam, becoming less and less appealing as something you’d want to play for long sessions.
J-Stars Victory VS is very playable. But, when you consider that the entire purpose of this game's existence is to act as fan service, the fact that it fails to offer the kind of fan service that would have had fans clamouring for it is incredibly disappointing.
If you’re not arguing with your friends over whether Naruto would beat Goku and you’re not praying for the fourth season of “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” there’s absolutely no reason for you to care about this really weak fighting game. [09/2015, p.63]
Played it for a total of 5 hours, and still don't have even half of every character! This game is bound to keep you busy. The arcade mode is hard, and the adventure mode is OK, but everything else is smooth. No characters are clones, and I don't see what other reviews are complaining about it being simple. There's a character that can heal himself, but if you keep missing attacks he'll get weaker. The 2 v 2 open arena battles don't seen crowded, but the versus split screen is too small, but I got used to it.

This game was actually one of the better anime fighters when you get past the first glance. While the graphics seem a little dated, the gameplay was surprisingly smooth. Most characters have a very unique skill-set and combo potential that is very different from one another so you actually have to learn the character. My biggest gripes with the game is that it is extremely unbalanced, certain characters just dominate the roster, and the over reliance of the team mechanics can get a tad bit annoying, especially if you're trying to play online and have to wait for someone to pair up with you before you even start the match. . Also the single player content is awful,, the arcade and story are so bare-bones. Overall though its a very solid game that could have been so much more with better graphics, better balancing and better single player content.,

Another Bandai Namco fighting game. Fun for local multiplayer but that's about it. The story is slow, boring and feels very dull. Completing the game to 100% took HOURS of mindless, repetitive grinding. You also need to complete the previously mentioned story game 4 times in order to get the platinum. Honestly I would not recommend it unless you don't mind spending tons of hours of your life on doing the same 3 combos again and again.

I don't know what's going on. In fact, I played one or two matches and had to stop because I was so genuinely confused on what was happening. All I know is a bunch of grown men were screaming at me in Japanese, send help.
