The ease of play, clever design, and memorable plot make this a very successful lunar mission.
If you're looking for a cool, atmospheric shooter for your DS, I definitely recommend Moon.

The atmosphere in this game is top notch creating a real sense of mystery and tension. The action in this game is great although the enemies can get repetitive at the end.

I thought this game was excellent. Brought back a sort of feeling I haven't had since Quake or DooM. The handheld format it conducive to that old-school feeling. I had no problems with control, and I have big hands. Yes, the enemies can be a bit repetitious. But the backgrounds, sound and action are first-rate. The overall feeling is very spooky. The minigames with the bot add good puzzle-work to the game. I couldn't put it down.

Moon really is a good game for the Nintendo DS. With an interesting story, amazing graphics, solid gameplay, and a nice mix of things to do, it is only the short length and repeated enemies that brings the overall score down a notch or so.
Moon is a refreshing, solid shooter for the Nintendo DS that will please all the gamers who have been waiting for the next Metriod Prime to come around.
Moon is a solid first-person shooter, especially considering it’s on DS, but it certainly has its fair share of shortcomings and annoyances.
Moon is a decent time killer and is great for anyone looking for an interesting sci-fi adventure for their DS handheld.
This technical masterpiece did what mastiff did best, push the DS to its limits. This game is sort of a hidden gem. The controls are fluid, and the 60 fps made it a clear win. I rated it an 8 out of 10 because the enemies and levels are repetitive, but with the DS's limitations, its forgivable. If you want to play this game, i would recommend the 3DS's remaster: "Moon chronicles", because the design and the controls are a little bit better (because of the C Stick on the 3DS) Final thoughts: Moon is a great game in the ds lineup, and if you can find a cheap price for it, i would definitely recommend it.

Wanted to like this game, but I just can't recommend it. Reviewers sited the game's controls as a plus but I found them to be very awkward. Shooting while strafing is nearly impossible. Of course you could stop and shoot, but then you are a sitting duck, which is suicide in a room full of enemies. Might have been easier if I had smaller hands, but if you have large hands save yourself the frustration and stay away from this game. Finally gave up on it about a third of the way in, after several hours of nearly DS throwing aggravation. Story (as much of it as I completed) was fairly interesting, but level design was repetitive and pretty bland. If the controls had been less problematic I probably would have stuck with it through to the end, but as it is I found the game unenjoyable.
